One of the most popular bike tours in the Pinzgau, is the Tauern Cycle Path through the Salzach Valley to the Krimml Waterfalls. The optimal route leads from Fürth/Kaprun or Zell am See alongside the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train in the direction of Oberpinzgau and you should definitely visit the Krimml Waterfalls. On your return, the route by bike is about 55 kilometers with a 550-meter descent down the valley. You should also plan a stop at one of the numerous swimming lakes (Uttendorf or Niedernsill). A jump into the cold water or a drink on the terraces of the numerous restaurants will cool you down.
