Klammsee Kaprun
Holiday by a lake
The Klammsee Kaprun is considered a true natural jewel. It has always been considered a recreational area for the people of Kaprun. In addition, many legendary stories are spun around the Sigmund Thun Gorge at the foot of the Klammsee. The Klammsee has only existed since 1947, when it was built to dam up the water of the Kapruner Ache. It collects the water that is not collected by the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs. These are, next to the Klammsee, the most popular excursion destination in Kaprun.
The Klammsee is within 15-30 minutes walking distance from all our holiday apartments in Kaprun.
